The Price Is WRONG, Bitch!

Turns out today was the last day to attend a taping of The Price Is Right with Bob Barker hosting the show...

Well, there's another thing that I've been wanting to do since I was 8 that won't happen.

I've been playing WoW for the past two months as a rouge and I can't see myself playing anything other than a rouge. Hell, even before I bought the game it was already decided that I would choose a rouge.

I like being able to sneak around without being detected and, save for two, I've soloed all my quests.

The other day I got asked what did I see in the Rouge archetype. I responded with the idea that the Rouge is the one with the most pirate characteristics out all of them. Then I got asked as to why it wasn't considered more of a ninja since it can sneak up on you and kill your character before you notice what hit you.

Simple. A Rouge is a Ninja Pirate. A Rouge embodies all the stealth and lethalness of a ninja with the adventurous nature of the Pirate.

I'll revisit the whole pirate topic later on, just thought I'd throw this out there before it get's taken by someone else.

I have so many things running through my head but the lack of proper words that enables me to form cohesive sentences prevents me from doing so.

Stupid Fox. When will they learn that some shows, although a bit on the cheesy side, will get a following if it's interesting?

I was actually looking forward to watching this every week and figured I'd get the box set if it ever came out, but noooo.... bloody Fox.

Seriously. They did this with Firefly, which I still haven't gotten around to watching, they also did it to The Tick, which I can somewhat understand why it would get canceled, but a show with the potential to appeal to all kinds of viewers like Drive?

And then people wonder why I spend most of my time watching anime...

I starter to read the review that the Hollywood Reporter had on Drive and I do agree with it in that some people would be ashamed of admitting they like it. Now why would people be ashamed of watching this particular show? Cause Nathan Fillion's character, Alex Tully, has lines that are peppered with the cheesiness. That and he, well, I'm not really sure if it's Fillion or the writing (or both!) don't really seem to fit in with the atmosphere of the series.

According to the review it's one of those series where you'd have to "check your disbelief at the door" to which I would say "Uhm, it's fiction. Isn't that a given?"
