The Bigger They Are, The Harder They Fall
In my defense, it was only $2...
And from the looks of it, next time I head to Fry's, I'll pick up The Burning Crusade if only to play as a Blood Elf.
Cause what's more random than a guy like me? Oh, right. Vy.

So I fried one of the small little cables that is used to turn on my tower.
...
Due to this, it was decided a new box was in order.
So on monday before I headed off to work I went to Fry's and picked up a box along with the WRT54GL v1.0 since they didn't have a v4 WRT54GS.
I started at around 11-ish after I got home from work and started to build it.
It's a nice box. What I like about it is that I can reach the CMOS button on the mobo without having to remove the tower from its space. Just open the front panel, reach in, and push.
Although it only has 3 3.5" drive bays, they have a nice large 90mm fan facing the front sucking air in to cool my 3 drives.
We'll see how long the tower last. The other one has lasted since 2002 and was awkwardly carried from Burbank by public trasit.

I went to Fry's on Saturday to grab a hard drive since I've filled the one's in the tower along with the one I usually cary and I thought I'd get a router while I was at it.
I forgot the serial number ranges of the appropriate WRT54GS...
So I wandered about thinking about what I'd get and wound up picking up Cooking Mama and Harvest Moon DS along with some screen protectors and a surge protector.
Why the surge protector?
Cause all the one's I have in the house are the old traditional "6 plugs facing down" that is fine for all things except for the AC adapters that take up the space of at least 3 spots.
So I figured I'd plug in the AC adapters to the four available spots and plug in the rest as neatly as I could.
I know that I'll be using one less adapter since I ordered the USB charger cable for my DS but it's gonna be replaced by the little USB hub that I got that needs external power (Horray, impulse buy!)

I got my mommy an apron and decided to see if it would fit me.
It's really tight. As in, I had trouble getting out of it.
But since in the picture it looks like it fits, then I can say it does indeed fit me <(^.^<)

So I've been playing Mario Kar for the past week and I only need 6 of the cups in the 150cc Mirror Mode to finish off the game...
Yeah... one would think I put off studying but actually I did most of it on friday. Not alot of people were passing by let alone coming into the office and there really wasn't anything to do so I started playing. And today in the morning I finished off the 150cc...
Overall, it's a great game and boy is it pissing me off...
So now I've been looking for a new game to play. Of course Advance Wars DS is coming in sometime within this week, but I've been yearning for a game that uses the stylus.
Cooking Mama has been on my list since before I wanted a DS Lite...
Elite Beat Agents seemed like a viable choice, but then I saw the song selection and all my hopes went down the drain. But then I found out that EBA is a sequel to Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and the selection is a lot better.
Well, I'm also rather partial to J-pop...
Oh, and there's also a game coming out called Housewife Superstar which, if you couldn't tell by the title, is a rather misogynistic in that it's targeted a young girls... yet it atracted the attention of me -_-;
Gosh, I'd really hope they release more cooking games since it would prove to be an easy way to memorize how to make dishes and as proven by this post the recipies are real and can provide an interactive cookbook for those of us without a cookbook.

I went to dry clothes.
I checked Circuit City's online stock and found they had some.
Figured if I could go to CC, grab the DS, and make it back before the clothes finished drying, I'd keep it.
The next day I went back and got the ArmoLite case and Mario Kart DS.
